Wonderful and informative blog. (and it looks great). It was difficult to read the words so I can't even imagine how it would feel to have them directed toward me. I feel as though the gay community is making some progress, but I don't really feel I can speak to it directly because I don't know enough about it. I know the recent union law did not pass but I think that has a lot to do with geography. If only people who lived in Portland had voted, it would have passed. I also believe that it is the persistance and wherewithall of this community that has gotten this even to be on the ballot and that it will pass the next time around. I do commend this community for keeping this subject in front of people and for providing education.

I can not understand why someone would want to call someone else those names just because of their sexual preference. I find it very offensive when I see and hear those words and it is not aimed directly at me. I feel that this is a very tough topic and I am very happy that you all are taking it on. Nice work!
